Baba Siddique, 66, was shot dead outside his son's office in Mumbai's Bandra area on Saturday night. The police have recovered two pistols and 28 live bullets from the apprehended shooters. 

The shooters, with their faces covered, fired six rounds at Siddique, striking him twice in the chest. Despite being rushed to Lilavati Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries at 11:27 pm.

Tamil Nadu Train Accident: According to RN Singh, General Manager of Southern Railways, a "mismatch between signal and route" caused the tragic incident. The passenger train was supposed to switch to the main line but was inadvertently diverted to a closed section of the track where the goods train was parked.
