New Delhi: After the BJP's consecutive victory in Haryana, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on Wednesday. Saini described the meeting as a courtesy call to share the news of their big win in Haryana. He praised PM Modi's policies, which have benefited the poor, farmers, youth, and women over the last decade, contributing to the BJP's huge majority in Haryana for the third time.
Who's Leading Haryana?
When asked about his role as Chief Minister, Saini stated that the decision would be made by the BJP's Parliamentary Board ¹. The legislature party will choose its leader, and their decision will be final.
Cabinet Formation
Saini is expected to consult with senior BJP leadership to finalize his cabinet. Despite facing anti-incumbency, the BJP retained power in Haryana, thwarting Congress' attempt to regain traction in the assembly elections.
BJP's Victory
The BJP's win in Haryana is attributed to PM Modi's popularity and the hard work of Haryana BJP workers. Saini thanked PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP president JP Nadda, and other party leaders for their support.
