Patti: The Christian community is outraged over the Tuesday night attack on the church located at village Thakkarpura near Patti town of Tarn Taran district.
At the same time, on Thursday, various personalities reached the church of village Thakkarpura and met with the Christian community and condemned the incident.
On the other hand, the idols broken by the people who entered the church have been covered and policemen have also been posted for security in the church.
It has to be mentioned that on Tuesday night at around half past one o'clock, four masked elements entered the church attached to the Sacred Heart School of village Thakkarpura,
who broke the idols of Lord Jesus and Mother Mary in the church and took the heads of the idols with them.
Before this, the said people pulled a pistol on the head of the security guard posted there and after taking hostages went to the upper floor of the church and carried out the incident.
Not only this, the said people also set fire to the Father's car parked in the church. After this incident, the Christian community in protest also blocked the road by protesting.
On the orders of Prof.Emmanuel Nahar, Dr. Subhash Thoba reached the church on Thursday and investigated the matter.
On this occasion, he met the pastor of the church and got information about the whole incident. On this occasion, SSP Ranjit Singh Dhillon told them that the security of all churches
in rural areas has been increased. SSP told Dr. Thoba that the heads of all the churches must install CCTV cameras in their churches.
