ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਦੀਵਾਲੀ ਦੀ ਰਾਤ ਲਵਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਕਾਰ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਸਤ ਵਿਜੇ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਫੋਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਮਦਦ ਮੰਗੀ। ਵਿਜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ 'ਤੇ ਲਵਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਬੁਰਜ ਅਰਾਈਆਂ ਵਿਖੇ ਛੱਡਣ ਲਈ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਪਰ ਰਸਤੇ 'ਚ ਪਿੰਡ ਕਰਵਾਲੀਆ ਨੇੜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਵਾਹਨ ਦੀ ਲਪੇਟ 'ਚ ਆਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਹੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
