ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਧਨਾਨਸੂ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਾਈਕਲ ਵੈਲੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਰਾਜ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਨਵੇਂ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਸਰਪੰਚਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਚੁਕਾਉਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਨਿਵੇਕਲਾ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਪੱਧਰ 'ਤੇ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪੰਚਾਇਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰ ਦਾ ਥੰਮ੍ਹ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
