Spain: “Johny Johny Yes Papa” poem’s message of avoiding sugar for better health of children is taught in kindergarten, but still problem of overweight and obesity in children is on the rise. According to Spain’s consumer affairs minister Alberto Garzon on Thursday sugary foods advertisements for chocolates, sweet buiscuits, candy, icecreams, sodas and other such products will not be allowed to be shown any platform. Spanish authorities have banned such unhealthy food advertisements which aim at wooing kids, in an effort to prevent increase in obesity among children. In spain obesity in children has increased from four to 18% in last three decades.
