Mumbai: Vijayta Pandit, actress and widow of late music composer Aadesh Shrivastava, has revealed that Shah Rukh Khan has not followed through on his promise to help her son, Avitesh, establish himself in Bollywood.
Recalling SRK's Humble Beginnings
Vijayta shared a poignant memory of Shah Rukh Khan's early days, saying, "During Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Shah Rukh didn't even have a sofa in his house. We sat on mattresses." This recollection highlights SRK's humble beginnings and Vijayta's long-standing connection with the superstar.
A Promise Unkept
On Aadesh Shrivastava's deathbed, Shah Rukh Khan reportedly promised to support Avitesh's Bollywood aspirations. However, Vijayta claims that neither SRK nor his team has reached out to her despite her attempts to contact them. Vijayta revealed during her interview with The India Express.
A Mother's Plea
Vijayta emphasized her desire to see Avitesh succeed, saying, "I am the only parent, and I have to ensure he becomes something in life." She hopes SRK will fulfill his promise and guide Avitesh in his Bollywood journey.
No Response from SRK's Camp
Vijayta tried contacting SRK's secretary, Pooja Dadlani, multiple times, but received no response. Despite this, Vijayta maintains that SRK is a "wonderful person" and a "very sweet boy."
