Gwalior: A devastating car accident occurred in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior district early Friday morning, resulting in the loss of three lives and leaving two others injured. The incident happened on Shivpuri Link Road, near the Vicky Factory, between 3 and 4 am, under the jurisdiction of Jhansi Road police station.
The five individuals in the car were friends who had visited the Shitla Mata temple at Santau village late Thursday night to offer prayers. On their return journey, they met with the accident. The victims who lost their lives were identified as Sanjay Dhakad (24), Vivek Joshi (22), and Hrithik Manjhi (22), while Ankit Sharma and Mohil Rai were seriously injured.
According to Niranjan Sharma, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Gwalior, the car's high speed caused the fatal crash, leaving the vehicle severely damaged ¹. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter.
